About me

I've been in marketing communications since 1985, working both with advertising agencies and directly with clients. I've worked on behalf of such clients as Aurora Health Care and many of its entities, GE Medical Systems, Quad/Graphics, the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Foley & Lardner, and for the clients of such advertising agencies as Hoffman York, Cramer-Krasselt, Laughlin/Constable, Noble BBDS Communications and Versant.

Earlier, I spent a number of years as a daily newspaper reporter and editor. I was on the journalism faculty of the University of Arizona, and I was a press secretary to a U.S. senator. I've won national journalism awards, and several national awards for public relations campaigns.
